Braulio Amado (1987) is a graphic designer and illustrator from Portugal, currently living in New York City, where he also works. As a designer, he reflects on his beginnings, a.k.a. what he learned while working in different studios.

He was always into drawing, but as the artist admits, quite terrible at it. Even trying graffiti was a fail.
Once his parents got him a computer at the age of 13, he started by making fan sites for music bands he liked back then. Only with downloading photoshop and Dreamweaver he started designing without the knowledge of what design was.

In college Braulio started drawing more, then he scanned his drawings and messed around on his computer. Through this practice his drawing skills got better.
